Rainforest Cafe

Before Mimi left I wanted to take her to the Rainforest Cafe since she has never been. I love that place. It is a restaurant that has these huge aquariums and is all decked out like a rainforest. It has gorillas, monkeys, butterflies, cheetas, and all sorts of other animals that all move and are very lifelike. Their is also a thunderstorm every 21 minutes and a mist fills the restaurant and all the animals go crazy. I love every minute of it. The girls had so much fun. I will say that Presley was the better behaved one of the two which is unusual and opposite most of the time. She sat quietly and took everything in and loved the aquarium that we sat in front of and also colored. Kourtney on the other hand was out of control. She was standing up in the highchair and was leaning back all the way and about gave me a heart attack a couple of times because I was scared she was going to flip backwards. But we had a good time and I hope to bring the girls back when they get a little but older.

Grunty Baby Barefoot Sandals Part Two

Another Summer Park Day

It was gorgeous outside yesterday so we headed to the park for a little fun in the sun! The girls were a little hyper because there were a lot of older kids there playing now that summer is out but I did manage to get some cute pics while they were taking a break enjoying their lollipops!

First Time at Pier 39

Mimi flew in yesterday evening and so we were ready for fun today! We decided to go to Pier 39 for lunch today and to walk around since it was a gorgeous day. It's the first time the girls have been to Pier 39 which is like a big boardwalk full of restaurants and shops. They have live music and a farmers market, magic shows, an aquarium and all sorts of fun stuff to do. It also has sea lions Who lay out on the docks of the marina. Alcatraz is in the background and it has amazing views. A huge tourist attraction that's sometimes annoying but since it was the middle of the week it wasn't too terribly bad. the girls had fun and we had lunch at Wipeout Bar and Grill which is all about surfing. Surfboards everywhere and surfer inspired decor make this my kinda place. Plus the food is amazing! We sat outside and had California burgers then let the girls take a walk at the end of the boardwalk where you can see Alcatraz. I bought them these little stuffed mermaids so they were happy the whole time. They had a great time and I hope to bring them back more often as they get older because I love going there and I can't wait to go on the huge carousel with them! Too bad Daddy couldn't go with us today but he had duty. Here are some pics from our trip today:
