Presley Dancing to Elvis Presley

The girl loves to dance! :)

Day 8: Profile

I was finally able to catch them giving each other kisses and just in time for Day 8! I love their little profiles but I especially love Kourtney's cute little button nose. It amazes me how exactly the same it is from when I got my 20 week ultrasound and they first got her profile:

Day 7: Playing in the Bath

I still bathe the girls in the sink in their bath seat because things get realllllllly crazy in the bathtub with twins. They try to run around and they splash each other in the face with water, and then one gets mad and starts crying: yeah it's craziness 24/7 around here. So instead of risking a heart attack everytime bath time rolls around when I get scared to death that they will slip and hit their head, I decide to just use the sink for as long as I can while they are still little. They love filling cups up with water and then dumping it out, and they can even wash the shampoo out of their hair by themselves now by pouring water on their little heads. They always cry if you try to take them out of the bath without a bath toy so we always let them take the bath toy out to play with while they are getting dressed.

Day 6: Peek Around the corner

They sure do love their zoo! And by the way I'm totally surprised that I did not catch them up on the sofa or ottoman while leaving then unattended since that's what their new favorite thing is although I'm positive that if I would have left them longer that's exactly where I would have found them. And here is another one I just had to share since it goes with today's theme as well--a cute little moment I captured on the baby monitor of Daddy and P during nap time when they thought that nobody was watching!

Day 5: Favorite Toy

I struggled with this one because the girls have a lot of toys that they can't get enough of. Just so happens that their first Cabbage Patch dolls came in the mail today from their Great Grandma and those are currently their favorites at the moment. I loved Cabbage Patch dolls when I was little and my first doll was one named Abby. I still remember her and everything about her. She had brown hair in pig tails and brown eyes. I use to take her everywhere with me and my mom had to patch her arms so many times from me dragging her around so much. She went everywhere with me until she just had to go as she was so old and loved and had been taken swimming and drug through the dirt so many times that she was literally falling apart. When they came in the mail I got so teary eyed because it reminded me of how much I loved them when I was little and how much I still do. I forgot that they smelled like baby powder and how much I missed that smell and I finally snapped out of it when the girls were screaming their little heads off waiting impatiently to get ahold of them. I named them Harper (Presley's) and Kinsley (Kourtneys) because those were names I wanted to name the girls but Travis disagreed with. Their birthdates are June 7th because that's the day the girls came home from the hospital. They come complete with birth certificates and everything! I chose them frpm the over 1,000 dolls on the internet and chose the blonde haired one for K and the brown haired one for P but they seem to like the opposite so I will just go with it. :) I hope they see as much love as my little Abby did. For the past two days they have loved on these dolls more than their other ones that they have. They cuddle them and try to put their shoes on themselves. They feed them and even hand them off to Travis so that he can cuddle them and kiss them too. Melts my heart! Other close favorites are their penguins and zoo animals! OH and cannot forget about Minnie Mouse!!!

Day 5 will have to wait

Well today, Day 5, is suppose to be of the girls with their favorite toy. But we ended up in the ER instead. I had just got the girls up from their nap and was going to change their diapers. I called to Presley and she was grouchy and didn't want her diaper changed and was throwing a temper tantrum on the floor so I let her do her thing and called for Kourtney. Kourtney backed away from me and ended up stumping on Presley who she didn't see behind her. I immediately knew something was wrong because Presley was holding her left hand and crying hysterically. She didn't even want I've cream and I noticed she wouldn't hold anything with that hand and would cry when I would mess with it. I waited for Travis to get home and headed down to the hospital just down the street. They took X Rays and as they were doing the second X Ray the tech said he felt a click in her wrist. The doctor examined the first X Ray and compared it to the second one and noticed that it had been slighty dislocated! After the X Ray she was happy as can be and picking stuff up with that hand and everything! Thank goodness it wasn't serious and I'm so happy to have my healthy baby back!!!

Day 4: Running Around Playing

This picture pretty much sums up our Day 4 Photo Challenge. The girls love running around outside and playing in their playhouse and with their BBQ pit. Kourtney is always doing something to make Presley laugh or make the stink face and this picture shows this perfectly. Kourtney is a wild thing outside. She runs in the opposite direction of you and fast! This is why I usually don't have pictures of Kourtney running towards me without the help of Travis. She also plays pretty wild going from toy to toy to toy. Sometimes I take them to the park but it is getting harder and harder to do that by myself like I use to because they both go opposite directions and are a little hard to control.
